2. Discord TOS: All members must abide by Discord's TOS and Community Guidelines.

3. Invite Only: New members may only join following public voting and discussion. No exceptions or favoritism, even by Staff, may overrule this.

4. Common Sense: Please use common sense. Avoid discussions that may obviously become heated or problematic. If uncertainty applies, ask a friend or Staff to assist.

5. Spamming: Please do not spam any chats.

6. IC and OOC Communications: Please keep conversation to their appropriate channels. You make speak OOCly in an rp channel if it relates to the scene–by using a format such as “(( OOC message here”–but please do not derail the roleplay with tangents.

7. RP Etiquette:

• Communication is essential. Arborous is founded and relies upon sincere trust with every member of our community. If something, or someone, makes you uncomfortable or raises concerns, please do not hesitate to mention it.
• Tell people when IC and OOC intentions diverge. Characters often act and say things that do not convey the actual feelings of the person controlling them. When a character acts especially mean, dismissive, or signals that they hate or wish to end an interaction with another character, please clarify whether those IC thoughts and feelings are shared OOCly. It will prevent misunderstandings and help maintain healthy, open communication.
