-  * Communication is //essential//. Arborous is founded and relies upon sincere trust with every member of our community. If something, or someone, makes you uncomfortable or raises concerns, please do not hesitate to mention it. 
-  * Tell people when IC and OOC intentions diverge. Characters often act and say things that do not convey the actual feelings of the person controlling them. When a character acts especially mean, dismissive, or signals that they hate or wish to end an interaction with another character, please clarify whether those IC thoughts and feelings are shared OOCly. It will prevent misunderstandings and help maintain healthy, open communication. 
-  * Respect private roleplay, however, do not be exclusionary. Privacy is a common and essential aspect of roleplay. There are countless things and scenarios that may be reserved for private roleplay between a select few individuals, however, please do not build a habit of excluding others. If a roleplay may be public, please make it so. This is a community, after all, and regularly restricting yourself and blocking others is an unhealthy and inappropriate approach to roleplay.
